About this place
BJJ DOJO Berlin is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in the heart of Kreuzberg, welcoming everyone from complete beginners to experienced practitioners and visitors from around the world. Our focus is on technical, thoughtful Jiu-Jitsu in a friendly and relaxed training environment. We value good training, mutual respect and giving people the space to develop their own game and approach to BJJ. We offer Gi and No-Gi classes for different experience levels, as well as regular Open Mats. Our team brings together people from many different countries and backgrounds, and classes can be followed in both German and English. Whether you live in Berlin or are just passing through, you are welcome to train with us, meet new training partners and enjoy some good rounds on the mats.

Please arrive around 10 minutes before class. We are located inside the Gesundheitszentrum at Bergmannstr. 5–7, Haus 5, 2nd floor, in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The closest stations are U7 Gneisenaustraße and U6 Platz der Luftbrücke. Please leave your shoes at the entrance and bring flip-flops or indoor sandals to wear off the mats. Clean training gear, short nails and no jewellery are required. A T-shirt or rashguard must be worn at all times. Gi and No-Gi visitors are welcome. If you need a Gi, loaner uniforms are available for a €10 washing fee. Please use the changing rooms for changing and leave bags there or under the benches. Most importantly: come with a friendly attitude and take care of your training partners. See you on the mats!
